The postponement of the second game of the playoffs forced a change in the schedule, which called for the Millers to host the first two games. However, Metropolitan Stadium wasn’t available for a makeup on September 19 because of preparations for a National Football League exhibition game on September 20, so the series was shifted to Fort Worth for the next four games (the rained-out game being made up in Fort Worth).
